]| Final Design Progress 3 |[

as for the last design...
again i used the tin cans as inspiration...

but these time only one tin can was featured in the entire piece and this is where Cubism is very much prominent in the art work...

i first used a more rounded shape of the tin cans but then decided to use a more geometrical shape of it...

here is the final shape for the tin cans...
it's more abstract  and geometrical and not too obvious...

sticking to the geometrical shapes...
i've used lines to draw a simple letter outline...

and arranged them in an organized manner but stacking on top of each other...
it may looked a little messy but it's not...

it's actually symmetrical to a certain extend...

and then i filled each letter shape with either one of each colour...

BLUE

RED

YELLOW

here is where i incorporated the tin can with the back ground...
noticed i made the back ground colours a little lighter than the ones inside the tin can
this is to put more emphasis on the tin cans instead and bring the focus to the tin cans...

here the outlines within the tin cans are filled...

here is the tin cans with the outline without the background...

as for the typography, i've used the same one from the previous art work...

but instead of brown i stayed with black and white instead..

and here is the final artwork...

As for my second design...

took the tin  cans from the first and developed more into it here...

i experimented with three different kind of strokes and chose the best one out of the three strokes that looks the best on the canvas...

which is the paintbrush stroke because it gives a more solid feel to it...

as for the fill of each tin cans, i individually coloured each using the same technique as before...
but in this art piece, i experimented with different tones of the same colour to give a bit more dimension to it...

here you can see 6 different cans varies in size as well as the fill inside each...

here i added the other blue ones...

as for the background,
the same exact technique was used from the previous artpiece...
individual strokes using the watercolour paint brush...

here i've incorporated both the background and the tin cans...

in order to eliminate the white space in between the tin cans...
i've used lines with the crayon stroke...

also this is to represent that each tin cans are connected to another tin cans...

each green will connect to a blue one...

the underlining thought behind this is that everyone in the world is connected some how one way or another with another person...

sort of like your soul mate in a way...

as for the typography,
i've decided to use the brush tool to hand draw the typography because it goes in line with the organic style of the entire art piece...

i've copied and paste the words twice and combine both to create more depth with the typography and coupled

BROWN & BLACK

here both the typography and the art piece are combined...

So based on the three sketches i've choose,
i've used

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR

to convert it into digital art...

******************************************************************************

First of all i started experimenting with different shapes to get the correct simple-lined shapes representing the five main communication means from the olden days up until our modern world...

the five communication devices are
- old house phone
- handphone
- gigantic handphone
- tin cans
- iphone

as you can see, i've experimented with brushes strokes to give it a more organic feel...

then i've strategically placed five boxes on the canvas as a separation column for each of the devices...

And finally, all the five devices were placed inside each box...

and then two main colours was chosen for this art piece which is

BLUE

GREEN

and instead of just colouring the inside of the devices as how illustrator defaultly does...
i've actually used another kind of stroke and individually draw each stroke to colour the shapes...

After which, i added straight lines (still sticking to the organic style by using a crayon-type stroke)

this is to lessen the white space in between the boxes in a way to fill up the space more...

as for the background of each boxes,
using a watercolour paint brush stroke,
i individual painted the boxes with individual strokes using different shades of

BROWN

and this is the final product of the art piece...
